Coconut Burfi

Ingredients

grated coconut.
sugar
ghee
colouring agent(if needed)

Preparation

Grind the grated coconut in mixie in wiper mode

Take it in a gadai

Add equal quantity of sugar

Mix it well

While heating sugar melts and blends with grated coconut

Add any colouring agent if u wish

After the mixure becomed a little harder in the gadai

Off the stove.

Take a 1 or 2 spoons of ghee in a large plate and spread the mixure.

If u wish garnish it with cashew etc

Make pieces when it is hot

Leave it to cool.

this is my husband's favourite sweet. easy to prepare and can be stored for atleast a week

10 to 15 pies for a coconut
