Arlene's Rice and Shrimp

Ingredients

1 cup cup onion, diced
2 ts butter or oil
1 pound shrimp, cleaned and cooked
1 can chicken broth (13.5 oz)
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 tablespoon chili powder

Preparation

Brown onion in butter. Add shrimp, rice, tomatoes, and broth. Stir in spices. Salt and pepper to taste.

Cover. Bake 90 minutes at 350 degrees. F.

Very old recipe from a neighbor of my mother's.
A touch of Cajun, southwest, smells wonderful.
