Cranberry Citrus Sorbet

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoons grated orange peel

Preparation

Bring all ingredients to a simmer in a heavy pot over medium-high heat

Cook until sugar is dissolved and mixture is heated through (about 5 minutes)

Transfer mixture to a 9x13 inch metal baking pan

Place pan in freezer for 3 hours, stirring with a spoon every hour to break up crystals

Scoop mixture into bowls and serve
