Loukoumades. Greek Doughballs with Honey & Cinnamon

Ingredients

250g Flour
1 pack active dry yeast (15g)
1 ½ cup of lukewarm water
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
Sunflower olive oil for frying
honey
cinnamon powder

Preparation

In a large bowl Dissolve the yeast into the lukewarm water. Add the sugar, salt and flour .Mix until batter is thick and smooth.

Cover with a kitchen towel and let in a warm place for 30 min.

In a frying pan heat the oil and spoon out some of the dough into the hot oil. ( Dip the spoon in the water, so that the batter doesn't stick on it.)

Fry the Loukoumades until golden.

Repeat with the rest of the dough.

Place Loukoumades on a platter laid with kitchen paper.

Drizzle with Honey and Sprinkle with Cinnamon.
