[edit] Ingredients

whole wheat bread slices

medium size boiled potatoes, roughly mashed

onion, chopped

1

capsicum, chopped

¼

head lettuce chopped

1

beet root, blanched and grated

salt to taste

1

tablespoon cliantro, chopped

½

teaspoon pepper

1

teaspoon chat masala

½

teaspoon turmeric

1

green chili finely chopped.

1

tablespoon mayonnaise

butter for greasing and toasting.

For the filling

In a bowl mix

Medium size boiled potatoes roughly mashed

Onion chopped

Step 5

Capsicum chopped

Step 6

Cabbage /lettuce chopped

Step 7

Beet root blanched and grated

Step 8

Salt to taste

Tbsp chopped fresh coriander/cliantro

Tsp pepper

Step 11

Tsp chat masala

Tsp termueric

Green chilly finely chopped

Tbsp mayo

Mix well

Step 16

Divide the mixture in 4 equal parts

Spread 1 part of the mixture (filling) on one slice of buttered bread cover it with other slice

Step 18

Place the sandwich in the sandwich toaster /griller and apply butter on both sides of the toaster,

Step 19

Toast /grill it until it is crispy and brown.

Step 20

Enjoy it with tomato ketchup.
