Mom's Pork Chops and Rice

Ingredients

Olive Oil (enough to coat the pan)
cup Chopped Onions (¼ or to taste)
Rice (1/2 cup)
Water (1 cup)

Preparation

Heat frying pan with olive oil to medium high heat.

Add chopped onions (1/4 cup) and

Two pork chops and cook until pork chops and

Onions are well done.

Remove pork chops and add ½ cup raw rice.

Add more oil if pan is dry.

Cook rice with onions for about 5 min.

Return pork chops to pan and add 1 cup water.

Lower heat to med low so that water is lightly boiling.

Cover with tight fitting lid.

Cook until water in absorbed (about 20 min).
