Firni ( Punjabi Eid Dessert)

Ingredients

1 Milk (full cream) litre
125 grams Rice, fine powder
150 grams Sugar
1/4 cup Pistachio chopped
1/4 cup Raisins
3 pinchs Saffron threads

Preparation

Pour milk in a pan, add all the above ingredients, cook on low heat with continous stirring, till thick.

Remove in clay plates, Decorate top with pistachios and safrron threads.

Firni is a very famous Eid dessert in Punjab. Very tasty and eye appealing. It is also popular among other comminities of India and Pakistan. It is usually served in clay plates.
