Cinnamon Candy Applesauce

Ingredients

1/4 cup to ½ Brach's Cinnamon Red Hots
23 ounces Bottle of Motts Applesauce

Preparation

Remove 2 tbls sauce from jar.

Poor in the candy and stir.

Allow 2-4 hrs, candy will dissolve.

Mix candy and sauce together.

Serve chilled

About

I grew up with this recipe and it was a favorite with Dad's BBQ ribs. I use it often during summer events.

NOTE: Mom never measured really. I find 1/4 cup of candy is good for most people, but personally I really like the 1/2 cup to give the applesauce a real candy flavor.
