Takikomigohan

About

Takikomigohan is Japanese rice steamed with seafood, meat, or vegetables. The broth can simply be water, dashi stock, or water seasoned with soy sauce, sake, mirin, etc.

A grilled fish like salmon fillet or a whole sea bream is a treat.

Fresh vegetables like bamboo, mushrooms, or green peas are also optional.
