Kim Jong Il Had Weird Eating Habits

December 19, 2011

Recently deceased North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il had some bizarre eating habits. According to a report from his personal chef in The Atlantic, the dear leader frequently sent his chef around the world to pick up ingredients directly from countries. For example, he sent the man to the Czech Republic for beer and to Japan for ricecakes. Kim frequently spent between $650,000 and $720,000 annually on Hennessey cognac, making him the company's best customer.

Apparently Kim insisted that a worker inspect each grain of rice to make sure it met his standards and had a private reserve of spring water. This as 37 percent of his people nearly starved to death. Bon Appetit carries more of his bizarre habits.

Oh, here's Kim looking at stuff (often times food). He will not be missed.
