A Few Facts About Mangoes

While those of us above the equator are confronted by the bitter cold of winter, tropical countries are enjoying their summer months.  Mangoes are not native to North American and are imported from countries such as Brazil, Mexico, and Chile.  You see them in markets throughout the year but especially during the wintertime.  The National Mango board has recognized our love for mangoes and would like to share some tips with Foodista readers including how to select a mango from the grocery store, cut it up and share it with your family and friends. &nbsp

Managoes (and guavas) are by far my favourite fruit of all time. There are so many things you can do with them. I live in the tropics and have access to mango trees. Thanks for sharing.
