Dry Fly Craft Whiskey Recipes to Start Your Weekend Right!

October 23, 2015

We have a lot to brag about here in Washington State and when it comes to our craft spirits, well, we’re pretty darn boastful. One of our favorites is Dry Fly, award-winning distillers of gin, whiskies (including a hybrid wheat and rye grain whiskey known as triticale), vodka, and bourbon. We love Dry Fly’s spirits for their exceptional taste, but we love them equally as much for their passionate farm-to-table approach to distilling. All raw ingredients they use in their spirits are locally grown by sustainable farms, keeping them a true craft distiller. If you care about where your food comes from, why not also care about where your spirits come from? But, hey, taste the difference yourself. We think you’ll like what you try (find for a store near you)!

Get your weekend started with these two great whiskey recipes.

2oz Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey
.75oz Pickled Peach liquid
.25oz Galliano
.25oz Barrow’s Intense Ginger

Stir all your ingredients together and strain over crushed ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with fresh mint.

Until The Bitter End

2oz Dry Fly Triticale
.25oz Cynar
.5oz simple syrup

6 drops Bitter End Moroccan Bitters

Muddle cherry tomatoes in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients. Shake and strain over crushed ice in a Collins glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
