Remove peels from garlic and onions
Cut onions into quarters
Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix until the tomatoes are smooth and creamy.
This basic tomato sauce recipe is good over pasta or in recipes calling for canned tomato sauce.
Use a dark red tomato, or the sauce will be pink. (It'll still taste delicious though!)
