Gobi Aloo


1/2 kg cauliflower, cut into medium-sized flowerettes
3 big potatoes, cubed
3 tomatoes, finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
1 (1 inch) piece ginger
1 teaspoon haldi
1 teaspoon garam masala
salt to taste
2 tablespoons ghee
sliced green chillies and chopped coriander leaves f


Heat ghee in a kadai and fry the onion till light brown. Add cauliflower and potatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and all masalas and salt to taste. Cover and cook on a slow fire till vegetables are done. Garnish and serve hot.
