Irish Coffee with Homemade Irish Cream


1 1/2 oz Irish Cream liqueur
1 oz Irish whiskey
hot coffee
Irish cream:
2 cups whisky
1 cup whole milk
2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
1 small can sweetened condensed milk
3 T instant coffee
2 T chocolate syrup
1 tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
chocolate shavings


To make the Irish Cream: Whisk all ingredients together and chill. Let set overnight before serving.
Make the Cocktail: Add cream liqueur and whiskey to glass mug. Fill with freshly-brewed coffee and top with Irish cream and chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.

Sharon, 1/2 and 1/2 is available in groceries stores in the dairy section. It's a combination of half milk and half cream
