Ersatz is a substitute for Postum (which was a popular coffee-substitute). 'Ersatz' contains: roasted rice, roasted peas, and roasted chicory, all in a teabag, which makes 1 cup of Ersatz: Steep a teabag in an 8-ounce cup of hot water for 3 to 5 minutes and remove; it's delicious with cream/sugar, like coffee.
