I am a first generation Italian American who grew up cooking right alongside both of my Italian parents cooking in the kitchen. I was making homemade pastas and baking pizzas at home as early as age 9! I love to cook for my family and friends and my philosophy on food would have to be as stated on my Food Blog "La Buona Cucina"

La Buona Cucina is Italian for "The good kitchen" Which is in fact the essential character of the Italian kitchen where good food is good enough.
