I usually cook from scratch rather than using mixes or already-made dishes. I love all types of cooking, such as Asian, Mexican, Italian, Indian, North American, etc. etc. We have a Big Green Egg barbecue and a big propane barbecue, both of which get a lot of year round use. I don't make a lot of desserts or sweets. We have a large garden, so I use a lot of fresh home-grown veggies and herbs in my recipes.
