  • 2 tablespoons diet margarine
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 whole Granny Smith apple, peeled, sliced
  • 1 whole small acorn squash

Pierce squash and microwave on HIGH for five minutes or until tender, turning after three minutes. While it is cooking, mix apple slices with brown sugar; let stand.

two minutes or until apples are softened

Cut cooked squash in half and remove seeds. Fill hollowed squash with apple mixture. Return it to microwave and cook another two minutes or until apples are softened. Top each with one tablespoon of diet margarine.
