Simply Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate
4 ounces (1 stick) butter
4 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Grease and flour a 9-inch baking pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt chocolate and butter in a pan over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth and just warm.

In a bowl, beat eggs with salt, sugar and vanilla until the mixture is smooth. Stir in melted chocolate/butter mixture. Gradually fold in flour and nuts.

Spread into baking pan and bake for 40 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Do not over bake.
