Loukoumades Greek Dessert
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
          3 teaspoons baking powder
          4 tablespoons Sugar
          4 tablespoons vegetable oil
          3/4 cup milk
          1 egg
          Oil for frying
      Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix very well together with a Whisk.

Deep fry loukoumades.

Take spoon fools of the mixture and drop in the hot oil.

Fry loukoumades until golden.

When loukoumades  are done remove from oil place in a plate lined with paper towel.

Roll loukoumades in the hot syrup.

Use crushed walnuts and cinnamon for a delicious topping.

For the honey syrup:

1 1/2 Cups honey

1/2 Cup water

1 Cinnamon stick

Place honey and water in a pot and bring to boil

Cook for 2 minutes, remove from heat,let cool and it is ready to use.

This a traditional Greek Winter recipe.Very easy to do and with the honey and nuts a real treat.
