Homemade Sausage

Ingredients

1 pound Very lean ground beef
1 tablespoon Ground Sage
teaspoon Dried Thyme
teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
teaspoon Crushed red pepper

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and shape into patties.

Broil or pan fry. If pan frying pour off fat as it collects.

Drain patties on paper towels.

Variations: "Hot" Sausage: Increase crushed red pepper by 1 tablespoon.
