- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (Xocai Healthy Chocolate XoBiotic Squares, melted)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3 whole egg whites (at room temperature)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray and cover them with parchment paper.
Step 3
In a bowl, beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt at high speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
Step 4
Slowly add sugar, a little at a time, continuing to beat for 2 minutes or until stiff, shiny peaks form.
Step 5
Using a large rubber spatula, fold in the vanilla extract and the melted XoBiotic Squares (dark chocolate).
Step 6
Place the mixture in a pastry bag, or use a large zippered bag and cut 1/2 inch off the tip.
Step 7
Pipe one-inch dots onto the prepared baking sheets.
Step 8
Bake for about 25 minutes or until the tips are brown.
Step 9
Cool completely on a wire rack.
Step 10
Store the cooled dots in an airtight container.
