Mother's Signature Curry Prawns

Ingredients

500 grams big fresh prawns, washed and drained
4 smalls onions, peeled and sliced
2 garlic, peeledad sliced
1 teaspoon tumeric powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon fennel powder
4 tablespoons water
1/2 cup coconut milk
2 sprigs curry leaves

Preparation

Heat oil in pan. Fry onion and garlic until fragrant. Mix coriander, turmeric, chili, cumin and fennel

In water to form into paste. Add the paste and fry for about 5 minutes until oil separates from paste.

Add prawns and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add coconut milk and curry leaves before adding salt to taste.

Serve hot with rice.
