- 1 pound Ground Beef or Turkey
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Onion
- 1/2 whole Green Bell Pepper
- 1 clove Garlic
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 2 cups Frozen Corn
- 1 can Pinto or Kidney Beans
- 4 ounce Chopped Green Chilies
- 2 cans Diced Tomatoes

Chop the onion and green bell pepper.

Heat about 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef or turkey, onion, and bell pepper. Drain off fat.

Stir in the garlic, salt, cumin, paprika, oregano, sugar, and water. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Add in the frozen corn, pinto or kidney beans, chopped green chilies, and diced tomatoes, then bring to a boil.

30 minutes
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for at least 30 minutes.
