Linda Rosenbaum

I'm a mother, writer, gardener, cook and baker. I am always trying new recipes, but at holiday time, Jewish holidays that is, I always come home to my roots. I love to share Jewish recipes with friends and family, and now I can do it through my blog as well, at linda-rosenbaum.blogspot.com

I'm trying hard to pass on little bits and pieces of our Jewish culture on to my daughter. I find that providing good, tasty meals good is a painless way of doing it. Now 21, she just moved out of the house, and I am waiting patiently for my first meal at her apartment. Wondering if any evidence of my cooking legacy has worn off on her. I'll soon see, I hope.

The nice thing is that Sarah moved in to her new place with the Joy of Cooking i recently gave her, the same cookbook my mother gave me when I left home over 40 years ago. Even nicer, she moved with the Jewish cookbook my mother passed on to her before she died. She's got the tools, just hope the inspiration is too.
