Yesterday, April 29th 2011, Prince William and Catherine Middleton (or Duchess Catherine of Cambridge as she is called now) tied the knot in London's Westminster Abbey.
We knew this was coming, we knew that they were serving 10,000 canapes, we knew a reception of 650 guests was taking place in Buckingham palace. What we didn't know for sure was what canapes they would be serving the Royals and Dignitaries of Europe. According to the couple's website, they served a mixture of conventional English staples such as miniature Yorkshire pudding with roast fillet of beef and horseradish mousse and highlighting local and seasonal products like asparagus and Scottish salmon. If you are getting married soon, you may want to take a look at the list to get some ideas for your own celebration.
