Pepsi Next Impersonates Customers with Comedians

For Pepsi Next's most recent social media campaign, PepsiCo partnered with Funny or Die to create an initiative that chooses consumers for an online Pepsi Next taste test.

As it's not physically possible to drink the cola through your computer, fans will be selected and imitated based on their Facebook profile pages. The social media campaign is to help launch the newest drink to the PepsiCo family, a mid-calorie soda that contains 60 percent less sugar than the original. Another way beverage companies are connecting with their customers is via Twitter, as with this Coca-Cola campaign.
