Foodista Friday Feature: White Chocolate Caramel Snowman Hands

December 2, 2016

We love our Foodista members and want to acknowledge their contribution to our site. This week we are getting into the holiday spirit with Culinary Envy's white chocolate caramel snowman hands.  These fun holiday treats are an edible project that the whole family can make.  Honey wheat pretzel sticks are dipped in caramel and then dipped in white chocolate.  Once cooled, they are decorated with sprinkles, candy, sanding sugar, food coloring and more!

Ingredients:

40 caramels
20 honey wheat braided pretzel twists
3 oz melted white chocolate
Sprinkles and crushed candy canes

Directions:

Step 1: Microwave the unwrapped caramels on high just until softened, only about 10-15 seconds. It should only be warm to the touch (be careful).

Step 2: Using your hands, mold two softened caramels around the lower half of each braided pretzel to resemble a snowman arm and hand.

Step 3: Dip in melted white chocolate and allow the excess to drip off. Place the leg on waxed paper, sprinkle on toppings and let sit until set.
