Washington Wine Country: Taste the Season for Wine and Fun

November 28, 2017

Chef Severion

The Woodinville Wine Country is offering wine, food pairing, music and many more events through the end of December.  Woodinville (just half hour east of Seattle) offers 118 tasting rooms, 14 microbreweries for you to check out (see the calendar of events here).

You don’t want to miss the 15th annual St. Nick’s Taste the Season starting November 30 and running through December 3.

The highlight will be this Friday, December 1: “Cure-ated” food and wines at Novelty Hill Januik Winery. This will feature chef Justin Severino, James Beard Award-nominee and owner of Cure Restaurant in Pittsburgh who teams up with Novelty Hill Januik’s executive chef Seth Fernald.  The theme is East Coast meets West Coast that pairs food, wine and holiday cheer.

The celebration continues this Saturday and Sunday with the Saint Nick’s Annual Open House Celebration throughout Woodinville Wine Country. Over 25 wineries and tasting rooms (along with the bonus brews Triplehorn Brewing Co. and 20 Corners Brewing Co.).
