I usually smother the chicken with butter but today I rubbed it with olive oil and a nice mix of herbs and spices including turmeric. It adds a depth of flavor without overpowering the other herbs and spices and helps to make the most amazing gravy.

It is the perfect salad after a weekend of over-eating, or when you have been depriving your body of true nourishment for too long.

I first made this Pimento Cheese and Tomato Pie when I was in grad school. My friend Emily and I wanted to combine our two food loves into one dish for a potluck.

I used my tea-infused dulce de leche to make millionaire’s shortbread, the slight bitterness of Earl Grey working beautifully against the sugar sweetness of the caramel. Tea and biscuit deliciousness, all in one mouthful.

Oh, how I love me a good, easy, pasta dish (especially when it sounds so fancy)!

I thought a copycat P.F. Chang's recipe would for sure have to be complicated, but this one is not. At all. It's straightforward and simple and your hungry tummy will not be disappointed.

Are you stuck when it comes to salad-creativity? Here’s a salad with a spectacular flavor & texture combination.

I like roasted sweet potatoes and I like roasted cauliflower, so I decided to combine the two.

We get really sick of sandwiches for lunch around here. This Chicken, Bacon, Avocado Warp to the list because it's fantastic. Super simple, but totally hits the spot every time!

These bars are a BRIGHT burst of sunshine! The lemon flavor isn’t the knock-you-out sort, but a sweet, smooth punch in a bed of whipped cream. You’re gonna love these!

These wings as pictured, were oven baked but if you prefer to deep fry them that's perfectly fine. All the flavors worked together so well and once again only empty platters remained.

This cake's simple batter, which you will be able to prepare in all of ten minutes, is made with a good serving of butter, two types of citrus zest and a generous scoop of lemon marmalade, which helps the final golden cake to retain a good deal of moistness and adds just the right amount of bitterness to each bite.

I’ve been on a toasted hazelnut kick lately, the kind that’s toasted until it attains a bronze sheen. The flavour of the hazelnut really intensifies and the texture of these biscuits is beautifully crumbly.

This bowl is full of fresh, unseasoned ingredients that are plenty flavorful on their own and require little seasoning but I think the vinaigrette really ties the whole bowl together. Plus, I love sriracha!

These giant, meaty mushrooms make a terrific appetizer or meatless main dish. The oven roasted tomatoes, goat cheese and herbs add to their earthy, savory flavor.

Why is it smashed you say? Because this potato salad recipe is smashingly the best you’ll ever taste.

These Veggie Confetti Wraps were something I developed recently in homage to that traditional crescent roll-style vegetable pizza that so many of us know and love during the summer months.

I like a hot sandwich with cheese and other tasty things as much as the next person. But if you ask me if I want a “grilled cheese”, I don’t want any of that extra jazz. Just buttery bread and ooey-gooey cheese, please.

One of my favorite vegetables to make into soup is butternut squash. I love the nutty taste. This soup is great served warm or cold, and has a smooth, flavorful texture and taste.
