Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk (or sour milk substitution)
1/2 cup butter (1 cube)
1 tablespoon karo syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

Preparation

In a Saucepan combine, sugar, buttermilk, butter and karo syrup

Bring to a boil

Let boil one minute

Remove from heat

Whisk in vanilla and baking soda

Serve immediately!
