4 pounds Fresh honeysuckle petals
8 pints Boiling water
inch Sugar (amount described instructions)

Preparation

Infuse petals in water for 12 hours. Express lightly and set aside for a few hours. Decant and add twice the weight of sugar, and make a syrup.
