Til Gul Wadi

Ingredients

1 cup sesame seeds (til), roasted
1 cup sticky jaggery (gul) or brown sugar
2 teaspoons ghee

Preparation

Heat jaggery in pan; add ghee and sesame seeds and immediately spread mixture over oval greased plate. While the mixture is still hot, mark lines into it with a knife for the wadis, and separate the wadis once completely cooled.

Makar sankrant special. It is very good winter snack, available in many shapes round (Til ke Ladoo), Diamond , Square. Children likes the best. Hakims are recommending it for wet wetting children. However they recommend Black sesame instead of white for this purpose .
