Lamb Kofta’s With Moroccan Sauce

Ingredients

Koftas
150 grams minced lamb
A handful of coriander, chopped
2 centimeters ginger/ pinch of dried ginger
1/2 teaspoon of Ground cumin
2 centimeters ginger/ pinch of dried ginger
1/2 teaspoon of Ground cumin
A handful of coriander, chopped

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients above and shape into small balls

To make the sauce. Sweat off the chopped onion in a little olive oil. Add Garlic, ginger, Cayenne and Cumin. Add the passata and stir.

Add the Lamb Kofta’s into the sauce and the coriander and cook for 15-20 mins.

Season with salt and pepper and a sprinkle of chopped coriander / parsley. Serve as canapes on cocktail sticks or as a main course with rice / salad. Suitable for children if you reduce the amount of spice added.
