Yield: 5 half pints

peaches with peel, quartered and stoned |

⅓ |
cup maraschino cherries, drained |
granulated sugar, amount to equal pulp |

teaspoon almond flavoring |
[edit] Preparation
Step 1 |
Put peaches, oranges and cherries through food grinder. |
Step 2 |

Add same amount of sugar as there is pulp. |
Step 4 |
Add almond flavoring. |
Step 5 |

Boil 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until a small spoonful cooled on a chilled saucer jells. |
Step 7 |
Pour into hot sterilized half pint jars to within 1/4 inch of the top. |
Step 8 |
Place sterilized metal lids on jars and screw metal bands on securely. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. |
