Dill Cucumber Pickles

Ingredients

12 cups water
4 cups vinegar
1 cup salt
A lot of dill

Preparation

Pack cucumbers in jars with a head of dill. Boil brine and pour over pickles, seal immediately. Set in boiler and let them come to a boil. Leave them in for 15 minutes, but do not boil any more.

(I leave them in the boiling water for just a minute or two before taking them out. The pickles stay nice and crisp. R.A. Lucker).
