Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

1/2 cup bread crumbs or crushed crackers
1/4 cup salsa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Preparation

Pour the black beans in a medium-sized bowl and stir in salt and spices until well-coated.

Mash beans roughly with a fork; stir in salsa and bread crumbs until well combined.

Form into 4 patties

Heat a little oil or cooking spray in a skillet and fry until the patties are golden brown on each side, 2-3 minutes.

Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.
