Plain Polenta

Ingredients

1 cup yellow corn meal
1 teaspoon salt
cup Blend the corn meal with 1 of the water

Preparation

Add the salt to the remaining water, and bring to a boil. Add the corn meal mixture, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened.

Continue cooking over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
