Simple Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoons butter
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 lemon (juiced)
1 1/2 pounds large shrimp

Preparation

Cooked a pound of angel hair pasta

In a frying pan put olive oil, butter,minced garlic then add white wine and lemon juice.

Add oregano, salt and pepper to taste, stir in shrimp and remember they cook quick about 6-7 minutes shut off heat when they turn pink. The heat of the liquid will finish them off while you begin to plate then top with grated Romano Cheese

cooking is often easier than baking, very little measuring required-guessing works
I cooked a pound of angel hair pasta-Barilla is my favorite.
In a frying pan I put some olive oil and butter
6 cloves of garlic, minced
some white wine about 1/3 cup
juice from 1/2 a lemon
oregano
salt and pepper
added the shrimp (they cook quick)
put the pasta over the sauce in the pan
gave it a toss and plated it.
quick &easy
top with grated Romano cheese
