Tool: Pressure Cooker


Pressure cooking is a method of cooking in a sealed vessel that does not permit air or liquid to escape, thus creating pressure. Higher pressure raises the boiling point of water, allowing food to cook faster.
In most pressure cookers the pressure may reach 15 psi (pounds per square inch), what reaises the boiling temperature of water to 122 oC (252 oF).
