Tool: Tandoor


A round clay oven used in parts of the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Indian Subcontinent. The heat in a traditional tandoor is generated by charcoal, and cooking temperatures can reach as high as 900 degrees F. Popular dishes cooked in the tandoor include tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, roti and naan.
