We've been eating Persimmons the last few weeks, and have been quite enjoying them. They work really great in smoothies, too, and that's usually how I can get my kids to eat them.

I came up with a perfect, homemade, buttery, full of cinnamon, brown sugar and nutmeg mixture, to go along with coffee and bourbon. Perfect for drinking on a cold Fall day by the fireplace.
