Hostess has released a shamefully obvious tie-in to the upcoming "Transformers" movie with its Snowballimus and Chocwave treats, which are rebranded with the signature colors of Optimus Prime and Shockwave, respectively. The Snowballimus snacks get a blue outer shell and red inner filling, while the Chocwave treats get red frosting and retain the white, creamy filling.
Hostess is also offering a $25,000 contest to further incentivize consumers to purchase the "Transformers" treats. Will you purchase the vibrant branded goodies, or is this a publicity stunt you'd rather avoid?
