Budget Friendly Eats: Southwestern Turkey Sliders

April 21, 2012

These Southwestern turkey sliders are the perfect meal to begin grilling season.  They are cheap, delicious, and a definite crowd-pleaser.  With intense flavors like chipotle peppers (smoked jalapenos), cilantro, cumin, and chili powder, an otherwise boring turkey burger becomes something delicious.  To top it off, homemade chipotle mayo is spread on the bun for an extra kick of spice.  Serve these sliders with a side of sweet potato fries and dinner is sure to be a hit.
