Mario Lopez is releasing a new diet book, Extra Lean: The Fat-Burning Plan That Changes the Way You Eat for Life, which offers lifestyle rules that will help get you in great shape.
"Three simple rules I like to stress are, No. 1, having carbs, protein, and fat at every meal. No. 2, eating frequently throughout the day. And No. 3, portion control," Lopez said. "We've become this society of all you can eat buffet, big gulps, and these large plates."
Extra Lean outlines a seven-week diet plan and boasts followers can lose up to 14 pounds in 14 days.
"Embracing food, learning to embrace food, learning the basics of nutrition, changing your body and life forever because diet's don't work," Lopez added.
