Take a mini vacation in these chocolate caramel hideaway cookies, with super gooey centers just waiting to surprise. Macheesmo amped up a simple chocolate sugar cookie recipe with little caramel candies and a final dusting of sugar.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
Caramels or mini Rolos
Sugar, for rolling
