Not so Rawesome Raids

August 3, 2011

Rawesome Foods is a private raw milk and cheese buying club in California that has now been raided twice by federal agents. No, they were not smuggling drugs or guns, but the owner, James Stewart, has been arrested and is being held on $123,000 bail. What is his crime? Conspiracy to commit a crime.

The others involved were from Healthy Farms LLC, and their charges were producing milk without a permit or license since 2007.  The arrests were the product of yet another year-long sting operation.

Thanks to Natural News TV, there is some footage of the "contraband" being dumped and destroyed. What a shame to waste all that nourishing food when so many people are hungry.

This situation is getting crazier by the day. The Swat team was fully armed, and raw milk providers are now considered criminals??

If you are outraged, there are protests being organized, and it never hurts to call your Congress people and make some noise! The Consumer Wellness Center is also collecting donations for the legal defense of James Stewart.

Who's arresting Cargill execs for the tainted turkey recall that has KILLED at least one person and sickened scores of others?

this is not about raw milk sales but rather illegal sales due to not having the mandated permits and inspections. The permits require safety and sanitation inspections and veterinary inspections of the animals
