About This Food

A complex sour beer with a deep red to reddish-brown color first brewed in West Flanders. The level of fruitiness is high, with notes of vanilla or chocolate, giving it a flavor not unlike red wine. The beer is aged in oak barrels for up to two years, becoming sour in the process from the residual bacteria in the wood. ABV: 4.6 – 6.5%%
