Tydeman's Red Apple

Sauce and dessert apple. Early fall McIntosh type of apple. This apple is not very crisp. It ususally flushes scarlet with dark red streaks. Its thin, shiny skin imparts a hint of cinnamon. Unfortunately, the flavor deteriorates in storage.
